stop telling fat people that they shouldn’t call themselves fat
stop telling us that “fat” is a bad word
stop telling us that our state of being is a fucking insult
"There’s this issue you’re not allowed to discuss: that women are needy. Men can go for longer, more happily, without women. That’s the truth. We don’t, as little boys, play at being married - we try to avoid it for as long as possible. Meanwhile women are out there hunting for husbands." - Steven Moffat
You know, IF this is true (and universally, it’s certainly not), it’s because girls are socialized from a young age to want those things. We’re given baby dolls and play kitchens and taught to be passive and “nice” (read: doormats). Our heads are filled with the nonsense that being a wife and mother is THE MOST IMPORTANT THING WE WILL EVER DO, our weddings should be fairytale masterpieces, and oh yeah, if we don’t accomplish those things by age 30, we’re doomed.
You want women to stop being “needy?” Stop brainwashing them from birth.
The girl who pretended to be a busy businesswoman (or a mermaid) instead of playing house, who had gay Barbies, who was perfectly content being single and who considers her scholastic and professional achievements just as valid as managing to get knocked up.
